The Flagship School

Head's Welcome

Welcome to the Flagship School in Hastings. Currently, we are waiting to move into our new purpose-built school, which will offer a wide range of specialist facilities for all our young people. The school is situated on the Ridge, close to the centre of Hastings and Hastings Beach, which offer a wealth of opportunities that we intend to use to further enrich our curriculum offer.

I am very honoured, as the Headteacher, to have the opportunity to lead the development of the school in this new chapter, alongside Deputy Headteacher, Ruth Angel, and Assistant Headteacher, Sam Henham, and our team of dedicated staff. As the school develops, we will work closely with families and the community to deliver a special school that provides the excellent environment, opportunities and support that our pupils deserve.

This website is in its infancy and will continue to develop as the school grows. The intention is to populate it with useful information for parents, pupils and those in the process of choosing a school for their child. Enrolment in the school is through East Sussex Children’s Services, with all
children and young people in the school having an EHCP.
