Governance at Greenwell Academy
Our school is overseen by a locally-recruited board of governors who are accountable to The Beckmead Trust Board of Trustees.
Local Governors are concerned with the day-to-day oversight of a school within the Trust, and providing support, expertise and challenge to the Headteacher, throughout the annual cycle of calendar activities from September to August. At Greenwell Academy, the governors establish an atmosphere of high expectations around delivery, ensuring that we meet the expectations for excellence, which enables students to succeed.
