Dual-registered students may have access to additional subjects and qualifications based on the agreement with their home school.

This course enables students to explore creative reading and writing, look at the writers’ viewpoints and perspectives.

Functional Skills English (Level 1 / 2 – City & Guilds)

These qualifications are designed to equip learners with skills such as comparing the ideas and presentation of texts, writing for a specified audience and purpose, and communicating and adapting language. They’re assessed in three units (Speaking, Listening and Communication; Reading; and Writing).

This course enables students to develop fluent knowledge, skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts. Acquire, select and apply mathematical techniques to solve problems. This Certificate is designed to be highly flexible, adapting to the skills, needs, and interests of students. A key feature is that it has been specifically developed to be co-teachable alongside the GCSE (9–1) Art and Design qualifications, offering a unified curriculum package.

PE

Sports Leadership Award (Level 1/2)

This course is a mixture of theoretical and practical learning about the skills of a sports leader. Roles and responsibilities, risk assessments and practically delivering a range of sessions to their peers are all course expectations.
